Hi ppl,

Well after a week ive decided ill try and get an ap system up and going. I have a fish tank going allready in the form of a stock trough. Ive got a suitable flood and drain GB from work, ive seen reidy the local plumber to go and raid his off cuts for some vertical tubes. Also a pump is on the way. Heres my 5 minute plan, very rough but should be able to see what im trying, any advice would be great.

Steve,

you notice how bad that weld is in that pic too? That was me trying to weld it with stick for speed, ugly.

Look like my standard welds . How many amps do you use to weld stainless like that Springa. I'm assuming it's a lot harder to use a stainless electrode than a normal one??

The part i did using stick, i went down to 50 amps, the rest i tig'ed that was at 80amps but i was moving faily quick to keep from blowning holes. I allso had filler rod in hand to avert any major holes on the fly.

Nice looking system Springa, I've grown the waterlillies in the cattle trough before (in Swan Hill), however that was before i found aquaponics.
