Well, seeing as its coming to the end of trout season I have thought to correct some of my MK I mistakes and start with a new or second system. I had 2 more IBC's delivered on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out exactly what to do with them all.

A couple of pieces of advice sought:

I am wanting to have 2 fish tanks. one for Silvers year round, and the other for trout during the 'season.' My options are 2 separate systems, or 1 system with 2 fish tanks.

Any ideas on which is better? I have limited space with good sun, so that's a consideration.

If I went with the 2 FT in 1 system is it possible to have Silvers in the ST over the winter?

OK, that's probably my most fundamental question at the moment... once I get that sorted I can start on some designs...

From everything I have read most people recommend setting them up as 2 separate systems to eliminate any potential for disease spread from one tank to another.
