Hello! I have been researching and wanted to get opinions on my rough idea. 275G IBC FT on my pool deck and place shade sail over top, Sump tank under deck also IBC, 4 50G GB on step down deck beside pool deck. Is this a reasonable idea? I am in Florida so I am not sure if just a shade sail is enough to keep the fish tank from being too hot? Also I was concerned about the height of all elements of the system. The deck for the FT is 48in. The deck for the GB is 34in. Sump will be at ground level. Any advice is appreciated. Can't wait to get started.

Welcome to the forum :wave1:
Your levels sound good for the classic chift pist design. Pump in sump pumping to fishtank and fishtank overflowing to growbeds that drain into sump

I think it should be ok, as my honey overbuilds, but I will double check that, Thanks.

I have had trouble finding a reasonably priced IBC in my area  I did get a good deal on 50g rubbermaid stock tanks at 60$ each. I found a free hot tub on craigslist that will hold the right amount of water for the fish tank. How much lower does the sump need to be than the FT? What size pump should I need? I am obsessing and driving my husband crazy with planning. I just want to get started! :fill: Any advice is appreciated. I am going to set up on a ground level deck 10x10 by my back porch.
