:dontknow: Got lots of fruit on my tomatoes but it just will not ripen, we are just into autumn here is that the reason?

Tomatoes need warm nights to ripen so maybe they are too late in the season. Or maybe patience is needed :)

Once it cools down, tomatoes tend to just stay green and not ripen, I'd enclose the plant in a big clear plastic bag to raise the temperature a bit-assuming the plants get a bit of sun on them. Maybe put some bananas in there to release a bit ot Ethylene gas, which will also help them ripen.

Probably is the cool temperatures. If all else fails there are things you can do with green tomatoes just do a search :thumbright:

I'd leave them going on the plant as long as you can. Sometimes they will ripen on the countertop but not always.
