Hi All,

Another new BYAP customer here :wave1: . Picked up a courtyard system last week to 'cut my teeth' on. Nat was kind enough to look after me and offer all manner of advice. Ended up with the 2k tank and 4.5k pump because we all know that bigger is better right :D ?

Even though it's an off the shelf system I promised I'd post post the build in the members system area, so here it is.

Also, first post, so learning the ropes here too. Please excuse any nube type errors  Like where did my picture go?

Welcome to the forum...and the addiction!

In regards to your photo's, did you 'add the file' after browsing for it. Theres a thread somwhere about resizing and uploading images if you get stuck.

Looks like a nice spot, with plenty of room to expand :D

The BYAP systems are a good bit of kit, mine has been going nonstop for almost 5 years with no problems.

The only advice I can give is be patient. Even after cycling the system will continue to mature for 6 to 12 months at least.

Will

Welcome, plenty of room and with a2000 litre tank you may need another 7 grow beds to fill it up a bit more. Cheers

Up and running as of last weekend. Charlie Carp helping out... one cup + 30 ml of seasol.
All planted out, although I can still see brown clayballs so tempted to plant more :D

Water was taken from the water hole here. It's teaming with water life, but a little dirty looking. Was pretty clear till I put the seasol in but has since turned dark green. Now for the waiting.

With the Perth summer still in full swing I MacGyvered up a shade house asap. Looks the part and even works too... and hasn't blown away in these easterlies yet. Minister of Finance and Recreation wasn't very impressed though. Believes the job is a bit quick and dirty and needs to be completed 'properly'. :dontknow:

Hi all. Been a while since the last update but I've been busy accumulating and every time Nat takes some money off of my visa card he asks for some photos

We had some machinery in recently to move some of the rocks and dirt about in readiness to plant a garden, so I took the opportunity to level a nice spot near the shed for gwbaquaponics mkII.

Decided to go CHIFT-PIST with my new 5k tank, so needed to move more dirt around after some head scratching and worrying about levels and how much head difference would be needed to run the system.

Pulled apart Mk-I and rolled it down the hill... which was fun with a nice strong easterly to help. Nothing broken so all good
