A place to discuss aquaponics

Hello,

I am hoping that an educator or someone knowledgable about school aquatics systems could help answer some of my questions. I am an working on a math curriculum that is Alaska based/ project based for high school juniors. I am very interested in doing an aquaponics system as a lesson and would love to get kids engaged and doing their own system. I have done some research on different systems and the process, etc. I am wondering if there are direct math lessons/activities I could do with high school students related to water and aquaponics systems. It would be great if I could find a lesson around algebra/geometry/calculus. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!
