Started my aquaponic system in June 2013 with two 1000l IBC based on Backyard Aquaponics YouTube video. Have since built a two garbage bin/bathtube grow bed. Only have 7 gold fish to start and test the system. Hope to buy some silver perch this week for Jamberoo.

Collected 50 Silver Perch Fingerlings ( about 30 to 40 mm long 1.5 g) from Jamberoo Aquaculture today( 11 Sep 2013). Alan was very helpful and great to deal with, he gave me some good advice and was more concerned about helping me rather than simply making a sale.
Alan also provide excellent information on transfering the fingerlings to my IBC and also a very simple method of determining how much food you should be feeding the fish each.
For anyone like me starting aquaponics, Alan is good man to know.

This is the start of my IBC system, I purchased 2 "B" Grade 1000l IBC from Tank Management Systems at Wetherill Park, NSW.

No it just information regarding the IBC I purchased for Tank Management System. I must say that I did get very good service from Tank Management Systems and would recommend them. The idea of the post was to give other people information on how I built my system .

Clearly Fresh by Nature sums up your attitude. No I am not on a retainer I have no association with Tank Management Systems ( the fifth mentioned) other than a happy customer. I note that your signature contains advert. I home you got written permission.
