gday all we started our ap setup after watching a youtube video (thanks to all)with a single ibc and then one day at the local tip i spotted bathtubs (not metal) for cheap so we expanded
i made alot of errors to start with, lost lots of fish through not enough air in the system and high water temp for trout
we did not give up loved the idea of ap :D

Yep just looked up hampton park SS Barrels [steve s] is close buy pm him he is a wealth of knowledge

yep boy do i have the bug
we started as a little hobby and now i have been banned from talking about aquaponics
so now days when someone goes into the jungle aka the backyard and they see the setup i explain that fish go here and plants go there
about 3 out of 5 are happy with that but the other 2 start asking questions and then im off and running blah blah blah etc etc
our daughter walked over to me and said "dad remember the ban" and walked off
so i do have the bug and what a great bug to have cheers brett&vicky
ps fish&food i was on youtube and saw your video at pa in queensland that just the sort of q&a im looking for

gday everyone had a day off today so i made a lid for the fish tank out of floor boards (tas oak)and finished the plumbing

neat! how are the bathtubs supported? I have 2 bathtubs that I have been meaning to use but can't figure out a good way to make a stand. Steel is probably the obvious choice.
