:flower:

I would like to document the start to finish of my wicking bed construction of my sand dune

I live in Onslow Western Australia. It is basically hot , humid and dry with great bushland and beaches for good shooting and fishing

I have spent all summer looking into BnBobs Bits out the Back blogg found here :headbang:

http://bitsouttheback.blogspot.com.au/p ... ction.html

For anyone thinking of investing time or moneys into constructing a wicking bed, you have to check him out !!!

This is my blow by blow construction.....What I couldn't do, I had to get my own Bob the Builder in to help..........

First you need the tools.....Drop Saw, Drill, and Grinder

The smaller width sides of the garden bed will now be constructed......

2 angle line ( 450mm ) cut pieces will be fixed to corragate colour bond sheet cut 450mm in height, and to what ever desired width !! using self tapping screws with a rubber, 12 - 14 mm width to 20 mm length

Drilling inside to out, the flack can be grinded off later

That blog link is pretty cool. A workmate was describing doing just the same thing yesterday, but couldn't recall what the name was. Looking forward to seeing yours! And yes, that is a sheetload of rock!! :)
