my plan is to plan wile i rent and just have a few small systems to learn about veggies so this is my first one.

its in a 2ft by 1ft by 18" and all i have done is rearranged the existing filter media (eheim bioballs) into a growbed i still need a bit more media so ill buy a bag of clay tomorrow (if i can hold out that long)

i still need to decide wat veggie i want to do first any ideas?
i was thinking puk choi cos em uses that a lot she also likes the look of chilly plants. she also wants capcicum collyfower and many more.

Hi Nat, couple of things to keep in mind in regards to growing the plants, cauliflowers are cool season and take months to form, fruiting plants need good levels of sunlight to flower and produce fruit so leafy green might be your best bet as they will tolerate less levels of light, They are also quicker growing, plus you get to harvest the outside leaves and the plant keeps growing. Doesn't get easier than that. Good luck anyway and keep us posted :wave1:

Herbs...... Lots of herbs if it's going to be inside, it's very handy to pluck fresh herbs close to the kitchen.
