Strangely, Ive never eaten Kale. Im interested in the juicing thing and will definately try that. I love juices and we drink them regularly at home. My favourite are usually made up of things like celery, carrot, apple, pineapple, mint and oranges. Yum!

Charlie you have kale in the raft?

I have one row of Kale in the raft but they arent doing as well as the one in the GB.

It was a 'natural coloured' oil stain. Looking back, I wish I had done more coats.

Oh yea thats right. Yea, that stuff is the bomb but it was expensive to freight to Kal so I just opted for a basic oil stain from bummings. It might have been a decking stain or something. I figured that because I would have minimal run off that it wouldn't matter too much what I used. The tiny amount of run off even with a big rain would be so diluted it wouldn't be measurable.

Cool okay thanks Charlie. It looks really good.

Quality build and aesthetically pleasing. Best combo.

Linseed oil is flax oil. Though the stuff you buy at the hardware store has other baddies in it, and is probably rancid.

I haven't had any problems with it, but I haven't use it on anything that contains fishes, only rabbits and stuff.

I really loved reading this thread. I made it past the toes and even developed my own personal opinion of your hands - I would say about 70% hetero. :-)

Thanks Charlie, I really enjoyed it. Will subscribe to keep up with future developments.

Regards, Martin.

Charlie, how did you plumb the return from the DWC raft and how did you seal it to the pond liner? I see no evidence of a return pipe in any of the pictures. That's some nifty hiding of the piping.
