Small change if it is not too late.

The joists that will be supporting your plywood which which will be supporting your GBs are only skew nailed to the bearer?

If so I'd add a ledger along the bearer to help support them. A skew nail connection is not very strong and is especially weak when the load is perpendicular to the angle of the skewed nailed.

I was thinking about that after I put it together. I know I had thought about that previously. No not a difficult thing to change. But think the plywood is overkill. The supports are 4x6s cemented and rebared in.

Yeah I agree on the plywood but it does mean that you don't have to ensure that the bars of the IBC cage are directly on or crossing a joist.

Mind you looking at the way you have cut the cage that won't be a problem. The bars of your cage look a lot closer together than the ones I have.

When I built the supports I lined up the cages to land right.

I'm considering doing the wrap around water set up but haven't decided yet.

brass valves may contribute to heavy metals leaching into your system, while ok for potable water, they aren't made for "recirculating" water - especially aquaculture water, which tends to be acidic (low ph)
replace them with pvc valves

Ok testing cycles. I had to remove the reducers that went from 3/4 to 1" due to the siphon wouldn't start. Which makes my stand pipes 10" and my bells 13" everything seems to be working great. Know that 10 & 12 is more common than 10 & 13 but why change it if it starts and stops properly. ?
