Looks fine-diddly-ine for a new set up :-)
If you're worried about the rocks just check again in a few days. I'm sure they're fine though, they don't look at all limestoney to me.

In other news, I found a reasonably priced supplier of K1 Kaldnes - http://www.allcareponds.com.au/item.toy?iid=61259
Ordered 50 Ltrs today. $160.00 and $24 for delivery.

I asked at the Aquarium near the Vic Markets (near work) for a price and when they finally got back to me they quoted $480! Told em they were dreaming...

Great looking job on your build and a good price on your K1 bio media, K1 varies quite a lot from different suppliers and some are well over the top with their prices, the best I've seen with delivery included is The Tech Den, their K1 is a little dearer but their delivery fee is a great price.

Disclaimer: I have no connecting with The Tech Den other than loving their Australia wide delivery price.

I bought my K1 second-hand from a guy who paid $300 for 50 litres and that was the going price when he bought it, now that there's a few more selling it the price is dropping.

Dogdoor I'm looking forward to watching your system progress.

Looks great, I could pull up a chair, crack a beer, and watch the tree grow.

The K1 hasnt arrived yet so the proof will be in the pudding - will report in on timeliness when it lands. They claimed next day shipping once payment received so it should be here Tuesday. Glad to hear about the price, I wasnt about to drop more than a $200 on the stuff!

Will keep posting progress pics. Not enough hours in the weekend to make much progress unfortunately.
