How much are the net pots you're using Julie?

Daniel, its very easy to drill the holes, can take a while to do 76 of them though and best to have the pipe at a good working height to save your back!

The net pots are 80mm lip i think, and i have a hole saw that is PERFECT for them, i think 78mm will check.

Trick is to mark out each pot site every 30cms or so, then rule a center line from one end to the other. Then drill something like a 6mm piolet hole at each site and then go at it with the hole saw. You can get the feel for it so that the cut out is easy to pull out of the hole saw, which can be the most time consuming part

The net pots were a little less than $1 each

Most spacings of mine will be 30cm, bit will have a couple of em only 2-3cm apart for the new seedlings (to maximise space usage)

Carefull buying net pots i got mine from a hydro place in greensborough for around 30 c each

What size F&F.... that's a darn good price.... typically they're about 0.65 -0.75c each up to about 80mm

Drat! That was the best place we could find that actually had the right size. What is the name of the hydro place for future ref?

I got them from a friend who grows other stuff will find out when he gets out

Maybe F&F should open up a hydro/aquaponics shop just down the road from the wholesaler.
