Any ideas..
We have had two fish die in around 2 weeks, both have had a white mark on them, just one spot. First on his belly and second ( see picture ) on the tail. (its very faint )..This one also has a very red fin compared to others.?
Plants and other fish very happy...PH a bit high but we have just dosed up on egg shells..

One of mine looked like that was told it was stress treated with salt looked crook for 2 weeks then got better now all are a nice silver all over i am going to start eating soon so will take photos then

S&A....possibly *ICH*...best thing to do is dose the tank with salt (3ppt).....and send an SOS (text)...HSM :shock: to BIL :lol:

What size is your tank...don't use ordinary table salt...anything else you're not sure on?

The tank normally has foam lids, and foam over each side. We only clean the front of the tank, we like the natural look, bet the fish do to.!.The water is crystal clear..

Tanks only a 4 footer....BIL told me the same thing :oops: i havent been though..
