One of the nice things about poly tanks... is they cleanup like new....

This was the holding tank for the trout fingerlings...

Hey rupe, tomatoes in JUNE? You lucky b*stard. Are those the trout you managed to nurse through the summer? Or were they this years trout? 38cm is impressive. My 2 trout seasons have been marred by the ANZAC day disasters which set me back about 2 months each time.

Amazing how long they can go without feed though.

The big trout were the ones carried through summer Simon... some of which would now be over 1.5 kilos...

And, while they've slowed.... I'm still picking the odd tomato as they ripen... :wink:

Had just finished cleaning the filters and pumps in the trout system... and was watching some big trout swimming around...

When my daughter rang to say she wouldn't be home for tea.... so....
