LOL - nah, it's a 200 litre poly fingerling tank. But if that is ever full then there is the bath, the sink and the toilet (all in the shed bathroom) and then the kitchen sink in the shed also. This shed is starting to sound pretty cool to those who have not seen it, but as AP, Les and Jaymie can attest, tis a shit hole :oops:

vb, how have ur jades and silvers gone together? Any behavioural troubles, any faster growth one over the other, etc?

No trouble at all. The goldies I have in there are fine also. Just get flipped around now and again by the perch if they get in the way at feeding time.

Growth difference is massive. My silvers were actually quite big when I got them (like 20cm). The Jades had outgrown them within months and the silvers are still not really eating size. Silvers will not be my choice in future (unless I find that they taste heaps better than the jades) - though I understand that some others must get silvers due to climate.

I've found a similar thing with my silvers and jades. When we got them the silvers were about 40mm and the jades about 80mm. Now, 8 months later, the silvers are about 130mm and the jades are about 230mm (still twice the size :? )
