There's a bunch of spinach in it along with farlic that I tossed in a couple days ago going quite happily. Glad to report I fought off the bugs and the spinach is now growing very happily.

Keep forgetting pictures though :/ Transplanted a bunch of cherry tomatoes and did some more work on the roof but sadly nothing to share, going to get going on that ASAP.

After a really, really long time, here is my aquaponic update, made especially for the wonderful folk at BYAP and on the forum. First real look at the system I have now after the 75 liter crate growbed :]

I used the phone camera to make this so please excuse the poor videography and editing, or lack thereof.

Lo and behold it's another update! Cherry tomatoes gone wild!!!

Last year when we had them in the system they flowered really well, as they're doing now, but the flowers would just fall off and not set fruit, anyone offer some helpful advice?

Confused on the subject of Danny now, Mum named him despite my specific instruction to the contrary. I think I have her convinced to harvest him now, now that she has given up trying to find a girl friend for him, but I think I would miss him a lot after the feast :/

This is exactly why you never name the fish, Gawddamnit.

If naming Danny was a mistake, then so was showing a video of him nibbling at your fingers when you called him by name. Now, the video will go viral and if you eat him you'll be demonized by his millions of adoring fans. You'll live forever in infamy as that guy who ate our beloved Danny.
