Howdy captain! That's a great system! I bet you've had a ball creating it. Was this your first attempt at it or have you been at this caper for some time?

Looks great! I like the horizontal trellis for the tomatoes and peppers. I'm curious about how well this does, is this something you've tried before?

Looking good Cap'n. I hope it is not too hot where you are. Temps here have already reached the 100's. Everything wilting in the heat. :(

Question... I can't locate anyone in my part of Texas that supplies Tilapia fry or fingerlings, only adults. Could you recommend a source? I live in Grayson co in N texas. I would be willing to pick them up if not too far.

Thanks

well Charlie a lot is learned your first year - ph is just now getting into the 6.5 range - temps are just now starting to get cooler- spawned around 400 tilapia this summer sold most on ebay and kept 70 for my other tanks - about to harvest my 1-2" that I put in the system on may 19th they are now ranging from 1.5 to 2 lbs - gonna take my dominant male and two females to put in my brood tank which is separate from the production system. I had purchased chelated iron that required a ph of less than 7.6 and is just now helping the plants. a learning curve for the first year with some modifications coming for year 2
