Power consumption......I tryed to turn it down....just went out to the tank....and a heap of fish where dying on me....

all drain plugs are out ........2 extra airators are in... pumps going flat out.......

I don't won't too loose my fish.....

Just like a bad night mare.....just trying to cut back on power consumption...might not work :blackeye:

Plus added 20 Kg salt :mrgreen:

Usually that happens to a fish's eye if another fish has taken it out :shock: Are they hungry lots?

Did you do a water reading to see if your fish dying is from Amm/Nitr or 02? You may be able to get away with less water pumping, and more air pumping - just a balancing act thats all :?

System update.....the weather is finally starting to drop and the plants are now growing at a better rate... ( photosynthesis stops according to some experts @ 35 oC

Todays temp is about 33 oC :cheers: ....so comfortable compared to 47 to 49 oC :evil:

Fish are great...just about family with names.....

plants are wow....Red Mustard rocks

grubbs have envaded...Dipple and squishing is the morning ritual.....a few pics....for the update......

Geeze you have a good eye....I know they are in the garden..we are for ever using them......
trimming stuff and for twine to rope things up....

and cutting up feed :mrgreen:

maybe I missed the point :geek: the fish will get a fillet knife......not a seratted edge :wink:

system update....attempting to clear the water, I might just bucket half out...hoping RIO or the Gorgon LPG Program will find funding for myself and a few friends to be able to do a project. Early days yet though.

Fish are growing well.... even though water has cooled off

And a dirt garden has been put in with scraps we have had around the yard used for fencing.
