I will certainly stick with it, I am as stubborn as hell :)
On top of that, I get lots of "advice" mainly from people who have no clue what I am up to, and definitely don't have access to all the data from research of AP.
You can't grow plants in stones.
You can't raise fish in tanks with a cover on 'cos there's no light.
etc. etc. etc.
I'll prove 'em wrong, eventually :D

Dui.

Hi Dui
How about temperature?
I heard that it's cold in northern part in Thailand. Warm weather fish may not live that low temp.

About growing plant in stone. Last week my mother has realized that some of my plant grow quicker than put them in soil, she told me.

Just be sure the fish get some light - they don't need a lot, but they do need to be able to see a day/night cycle occuring.

Damn, 5 more dead this morning, more looking "under the weather"
Temperature might be an issue, or more specifically the temp changes.
It is cold at night Air=16C (water this morning is 21C) and gets hot during the day 31/32C in the afternoon, have seen water temps at 30C/31C.
Would a swing of 10C over night be enough to kill them?
I fear the answer might be "yes"....

I've seen my water temp. go from 30 in the day to 24 in the night, that I've seen but I doubt if the high and lows are more than the degree off, goldies doing fine. How are your other water parameters doing?

Since I added 40 more Catfish, Ammo has come up, but really no more than a trace, a very slight green colour, tested this morning before the pump came on.
Nitrites, again a trace, pale orange colour.
Nitrates 12mg/L.

I can never be sure about that, but the tank is manufactured as a fish tank.
The growbeds, I don't know exactly what they're made from, flexible and slightly rubbery.

PH stable at 7 ish.

I will soldier on :)

I guess it could be, but I would have expected all the first batch to have died by now if it was toxins leeching.
Problem there of course is proving/disproving it without building 3 new growbeds.

I'll just have to hang in there, no more deaths today, but it usually seems to happen at night.
