I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that photo. Dunno what happened there, and even the garden tap looks to be on a lean. They are straight, and I am going to put another short length of bearer on those blocks under the second bed. Thats why the existing bearer is to the side of the block

And yes I think 32mm syphons in both would be a good idea

25mm drains mine quite fast I have even played with a reducer to slow the flow. I wouldn't go bigger otherwise you could pull all the water out from around the siphon before it gets a chance to drain through the media.

Had a day off today so got to and washed some scoria for the growbeds. Going to top them off with 20mm washed pebbles for easier planting. Hoping the rain holds off for at least the morning tommorow to get them finished and the system running.

25 silver perch fingerlings from livefish turned up today. I put half in each of two indoor aquariums, which were both way understocked due to power outage a few weeks ago.

Hope this works and I can keep them going till the outside tank warms up :?

The rain stopped long enough today to get it up and running. Filled the first barrow with washed pebbles in the driveway to take down to the wash bin, and the barrow wouldnt move, as I had somehow staked the tire
So got them there bucket by bucket and will be very sore tommorow me thinks.

Looking good!

Would love to able to get a system like that in. Just need to find a way to get it past the minister for finance and planning! :D

Please keep the photos coming or even a video or 2. I worked out how to use you tube in the past couple of weeks, wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. :thumbright:
