Its been a long weekend as it seems I only do upgrades in the hottest weather.

My "future" 3rd incarnation of the system is now a reality. Its not finished as I need to still run piping but it is in place ready to go.

I needed to move the beds around and came up with this idea which worked a charm. Luckily I own a pallet jack :)

Now the 2 old beds are end to end.

I moved the Murray Cod into the large tank to do the changes and then had to join them for a swim to net them back into the little tank. Not a bad end to the day and a great way to cool down. I think I am even starting to look like a farmer :)

MASSIVE THANKS to Dean and his wife from Growfresh Aquaponics for their help yesterday putting in the upgrade. It's 95% finished and almost ready to turn on the new growbeds.

I'll post some pictures as soon as our home interenet is back up... bloody ISP is struggling to fix an issue in the exchange.

Another hard days work which also included some "landscaping" of the aquaponics area.


You can see the redgum chips we put all around the slab and also the 4 poles that are the start of the shade system I am working on.
