Oh definitely, I have done a LOT of work to get it to where I am....

Just the finish line still seems pretty far away...

I have hit a few snags ok... lol! Plus I am a perfectionist so it doesn't help.

So, your day job is in software? :D

One thing that surprises me here in Costa Rica is how fast everything gets done because they don't even know what a perfectionist is - except that it is me. ;)

Thanks for the offers Duckpond... But I have been busier than you thought?

All the growbed frames are done... http://backyardaquaponics.com/forum/vie ... sc&start=8

Triangle palm is almost out. We have an huge pot that we are thinking of putting it into, if it survives we might sell it, or replant it somewhere.

I should mention it on the other thread, but I found a brickie, well dad did. He said he can do it in between jobs when he gets a chance. I hope it is soon.

Atm, I only have piping, a bit of paving and the palm to go. I can't really do any more. Soon as the step is done I can finish paving and start getting every thing in place. Once the area is preped I might need a hand cutting and gluing pipe and stuff, putting it all together. :)

I do have to get some small limestone blocks to border a plum tree that is nearby. If anyone knows any going cheap.

hmm i can get 100mm x 240mm x 500mm blocks for $5 each, they are 1st grade and very nice. easy to work with too. larger blocks are hard to work with cause they are a two person lift. If u want a circle you have to do heaps of cuts to get the curve right. brick and render can be cheap as most building sites have leftover bricks and sand for free. What dimension surround u looking at? I want to try out a render effect i saw on a job, so might be able to help. if it doesnt work out, sledgehammer it out and start again.

Yes I did. Oh and the eggs hatched on Friday morning so we have 26 baby ladybird larvae. The pupa hatched this morning as well!

You need to setup a little ladybird farm... get a plexiglass dome. Maybe a tiny little swing set for them. It would make a good learning tool.

Oh Tim, Tim, Tim they live on a farm where they are the workers eating all the aphids and breeding for the good of the aquaponic system.

They don't have time to play, they are too busy eating.

Do you really think we could teach them how to play on the swings.
