Well I have finished making the grow beds ,just remains to paint ,fix syphon's next job is to start on fish tank ,probably ,will use workshop I can insulate fish tank and workshop ,plan to install calor gas heater in workshop ,then pump heat to greenhouse

This is the other side of green house, I plan to install concrete path , ,to extend work shop to accommodate fish tank , also to work out heating greenhouse .from workshop ,concerning grow beds just a matter of painting top coat fixing syphon's

Reference . The pictures show work carried out during the last few months . I have created a small bed to grow veg ,flowers ,I raised the land up by about three feet ,using 8 tons sub soil ,one picture shows where the greenhouse now stands .I am glad this part of building the aquaponics system is over its nice to tidy up for Christmas ,all that remains is to insulate fish tank ,this work I will carried out in the new year ..At the moment I am down to painting the sub tanks fixing syphon's

happy Christmas everybody ,gone down with a heavy cold .will start work on aquaponics system in the new year ,the weather at the moment wind rain fairly mild ,changing in a couple of days to very cold in the U K

I saw on the web site can you grow grain in aquaponics system ,for feeding animals ,well grew some rye grass in the system just by sprinkling seed lightly over grow beds ,and they did quite well ,growing feed for animals .you would need a rotation system of sorts .it would mean looking on this web site for idea's sounds quite a challenge .

Tested syphon's works very well ,have made pipes tor grow beds starting to work on fish tank ,will insulate fish tank , use workshop to house fish tank ,get path laid beside green house for safety.

Reference fixed siphons ,they work well , set up pipe for the grow beds ,will now start work on the fish tank The path needs to be laid by greenhouse ,then use work shop to house fish tank

Get some more slots in those media guards before adding media. You will thank me later.

reference started to clear logs from side of workshop to make way for extension to build fish tank .fish tank will live in the workshop be properly insulated

Reference started to make fish tank ,painted facia boards black to save time .plan to use polystyrene to insulate .I have moved the grow beds to back of greenhouse to give me more room to work.
