Something else I wanted to ask you about.. What is the size of those inline MT'S? And have they reached a point of equilibrium yet? Meaning the bacteria consumes what comes in to the point that the biofloc doesn't grow bigger anymore? Thanks Cookie!

nope.. seems like the bacteria don't really stop growing... umm hence I said got to design it better.. interms of size they arw 20gals with a retention time of about 8 mins.

Thanks for that info cookie. I am thinking about an inline mineralization system but with a twist. If I use a split flow from fish tank I can process the solids parallel to the regular flow. This means I can increase retention time tremendously if I size the mineralization tanks properly. If I move forward with it I will keep you posted my friend. Thanks for those update!

well that will work great.. because that's how mines is.. I got 3 inline MT... 2 parallel to each other with a combined retention time of 16 mins.. the the outlet of both joins and enter the third MT and that one is 8 mins.. then exit to GB..

I'll hada clean my MT soon.. too much bio film... its restricting water flow and also go to clean the air stones which is at the bottom of the media... so thats going to be a bit of a dirty day..

Fell off.. birds giving me a hard time.. but I'm now starting to win the battle.. seems like they ate soo much that they got fed up eating tomatoes.. so they left
