The plants I have in the flooded gb's have shown more growth since I changed them over. But my aglae filter adds a crap load of o2 to the water.

I have had a mortality.....first one in ages which is great.

This barra had an eye pecked out two months back, you might be able to see how it has healed over, but yesterday, the other eye was pecked out... poor thing, found him swimming backwards.

I put him in a bucket with salt and a bubbler, but he died later that day.

Good growth, the fish where 2 cm delivered 17 December, So 3 months and grew 19.5 cm

oh,
I was hoping to hear some new/simple/ingenious way to harvest grasshoppers. I guess it keeps the fish happy though.

It is simple....and effective...we had a swarm of grasshoppers come into town, though my yard has run out.....I walk next door and there are millions

Thanks mathew, you got me thinking, tomorrow morning I will take the throw net.... and see if I can catch even more

About the best trap I can come up with , except for..... to turn all the lights off except for one office and leave the door open so it is inundated with hoppers :geek:

How about laying the net on the ground, shining the spotlight on it rope on each corner up to and over a branch, just pull it up fast, just a thought :)
