Are they taking to the pellets now Jess? Our large ones are still really slow on the pellets, thought threw a couple of small tilapia in there the other day and they disappeared in a nanosecond.

no....they don't like dry pellets.......they spit them out....soaked pellets with a few pilchards in the bullet mixer to trigger the feeding response works like a charm...

many , many phonecalls and conversations about this issue, have bought myself and a few others to the conclusion that the extra oil out of a few pilchards or any other seafood...and a softening of the pellet...and the feeding response is actually triggered to a hidious degree....then you got to be carefull not to over feed , 'cause they shite it out and don't take anything in

Thankyou to Broome Tafe , for perseviring with my untolled amount of questions...they have been of great support and help

I have been plagued by little green grasshoppers that have chewed my bush beans, sunflowers, bassil, back to a stalk.
I would love to replant today butknow that these little guys would also love that.......

Any ideas to keep these little critters at bay ???? would be greatly appreciated

Sorry the pics aren't the best

Nice fish. We have crickets in the thousands at the moment. Just the number the fish are eating them in. Hows the shade cloth going. If you manage to close it off the grasshoppers can't get to the plants. Open it up again when they have gone. I was thinking of making a domed top for the gb thats in full sun just incase. Can double as an insect net.

I want to try the Ell Gro for lettuce. And the autopots are cool. I don't even mix up hydro solution anymore. Just fill the tank up out of the pool. Everything in the auto pots are doing great on AP water. Will have to round up the chillies if they get any bigger.
