The air cons all tripped out.....tryed to turn the power off at the mains but it sparked :| waiting for a sparky to sort it out

A heap of patience is going to be needed here to get the garden back to a healthy state...fish are fine...

Rant : poeple driving around after a big blow, looking at your sorry state of affairs.....they just gork and stare...never stopping to ask if your OK, or in need of a hand....just giggs...really annoys me to no end

Could be the heat.

I throw seeds in all the time and don't worry what time of year it is. I might have to check out F&D's link also.

Just set up the new pump from Age of Aquariums and I just don't feel comfortable about it at all, if one line drops out then no air pumps through the tank, just pumps out the vent open....

lesson learn before the hard way , if something in an AP system is a concern, either change it back or make it fool proof.....might set back up two of the other pumps supplied from BYAP for the time being.

And the wooden air blocks don't work at all  and the tank cleaner I bought only fits to an inside tap fitting...doesn't fit to an out side hose piece.......oh the joys of buying on line :blackeye:

I hooked up a main 19mm poly pipe and used the screw in sprayer and driper bits for gardens. They even have a small black pipe you can connect and push the air stones into the other end. You don't have to worry about them slipping off. And I didn't like the wood air stones. My guess is you need a lot of pressure to get them to work.
