hi all, the aquaponics system has been offline for over a year due to going through about 3-4 pumps (bunnings pumps) , i now have found a pump that i havnt had any problems with and it has been running for the last 6 months without a problem (Hailea l15000 from www.aquariumwholesaleshop.com ) good value at $165 + free postage, after fitting the pump and running the system for a couple of weeks the algae has cleared and to my suprise the 35 silver perch are still alive and healthy after over a year of no airation or feed. so now i have reseeded all the beds and have new seedlings coming up. i will post some photos as soon as i have some decent sized plants in the system.
