Quick update - went down to golden ponds yesterday and picked up 100 silver perch to put in my sump. Pretty cheap! Plants going ok - some growing much better than others. Nitrates are pretty low so hopefully the silvers will boost everything.
The plan is to grow out the silvers in the sump and grow trout or barra in the big tank. Waiting for winter to get trout now...
