Sure, that would be great. I originally started in member introductions but now think it would be better in member systems.

So all the catfish did not make it. I was given several large goldfish. Each one is about 12 inches in length. I think they may be a little hardier. I am hoping for the best. I did a .75 water change and filled the tank with RODI water. Things are looking good so far. This just seems really slow. When I was doing research for this project, some people has such great growth in such short amounts of time. Oh well, I am just trying to be patient.

I have several light fixtures like this around the house. I have three 26 watt lights in this one. They are 6500K. Would these lights be better than the VHO's?

Bummer to make reflectors for.

Bit of an ad but good for the charts http://www.powerplants.com.au/PDF/pdf_b ... lights.pdf

Steve, High K's can make plants leggy but only when there's not enough of it , ie when the lamp is too far away and the plant is not receiving enough light. :? Ok most likely the problem.

Ok, so things seem to be going well. The goldies are doing well. The plants seem to be growing a little faster since I moved the lights closer to the plants and actually have some fish that are living and eating. I am planning to purchase some new fish tomorrow. When I called the supplier and told her of my situation she recommended 10 cat fish and 10 bluegill. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think this is too much at one time?

Thanks,

Richard

I would say 5 of each, for the size of your tub.

So I got the fish but the Cats seem to have the same kind of fungus. Red around the ends of fins and white spots on the fish. Do any of you all have any suggestions for their care and or treatment.

Thanks

Richard

3ppt is the recommended salt dosage which doesn't affect too many plants but helps the fish
3kg to 1,000 litres
6.61 lbs to 264 gallons (US)
1lb of salt to 39 gallons...or 1lb to 40 gallons
