And a few pictures with the sun up :D

For the beds that are nearly finished, I still have to clean the excess plastic off, cut down the stand pipes, add dust caps and line the tin edging with hose for safety. But it is getting there.

All the river rock layed on the ground will be washed, left to dry for a couple of days and sealed to bring out the great colours of the rock....That part though is about 4 weeks off.....slowly slowly it will happen

another 3 beds commissioned....

The growth is so slow. Too slow for what I am used to.

I can't believe how slow dirt can be :support:

AP will be rehooked up in the following week. I can't take this.

At least with the AP I will either go gang busters or bust, no inbetween,. This is killing me :blackeye:

Tomatoes :headbang:

As you might see in the 2 and 3rd photo, the kind farmer made me 2 more beds.

The smaller one will be 4 different chilli's ( if they ever germinate this time :? taking ages ) and not sure about the other large bed.

750 coir pots arrived from Ebay Friday. I am finding The Diggers Club to be getting expensive  on certain purchases. I love growing in the coir pots.

I know they are wicking beds, but I still like to water 8) I feel it is therapeutic ....using a watering can

So I make a tea out of good compost in a large bin. Place 5 kg or so in and keep topping up with water. Might last maybe 2 to 3 weeks. I use it until the colour is too light in the watering container then pour the sludge into the garden and remake the tea.

I will water like this at least every third day. Sometimes daily if the seedlings are very small, it is a great way to direct nutrient in a light liquid form that the plants can handle
