Just re-read the Diggers label... doesn't give me a mol or percentage concentration... but I think it's about 30%....

Says 100ml in 40000L to raise pH 0.1.... that's 10ml in 4000L....

But depends on concentration....

Hence the need to add small amounts... and test.... then adjust further if/when needed...

Regardless... wear gloves and safety glasses or sunnies etc... just in case of any splashes...

One drop of acid in the eye... and you're history ...

Been thinking about he Barra that I lost....it was 18 cm....I was thinking its life might of ended from a perforated gut lining form eating other fish...... :blackeye: ...

 this seems like a conclusion ( can you tell how many CSI's programms I have watched in th last 4 days...and I had a lesson on band width  )

Its swim bladder I think was damaged, due to the fresh floater ... being a pig in the tank...probably not a bad thing

Thats what I thought too, but decided not to argue with C1.

A google on many forums confirms what I thought :

http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=mixing+acid+and+water&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryAU

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061120235016AAmp12O

Acid into water. It does not really matter with low concentration acid though, such as C1 is using.
