Are you human?: Only after 3 coffees

Thanks katmac have just checked again and they are all just under 11c. With the sun shining into the big tank I can see a goos patch of the bottom. Very clean and a few jades doing slow circuit of the tank. Just hope the other 70 silver and jades are ok. Will have to try and see who has a under water camera to borrow to check all three tanks out. Cheers

Just been down and does not appear to be any problems. Last nights low temperatures were unexpected I believe. With the tanks sitting on 11c at the moment I hope it does not fall again as low. It shows that jades can take a lot lower temperatures in tanks than has been talked about but I would not like to push the low temperatures for too long. Cheers

ccBear I think you need to move to Adelaide. The lowest so far in the tanks has been 10C, I could be cheating though as the 5000L sump is 1.8m in the ground.

Seen your sump mate and that is where it needs to be. Need to get my finger out and enclose the area as well as put the plastic over the shade structure. Cheers

Lol. Thanks Charlie. I had to go for a cold shower after Freddie's comments, I was struggling to cope.

Most things going well here, had a major problem with the tank over flowing but will explain that later. Took two Jade perch out of the main system last week for a lunch with the wife and a good friend in Brisbane. Both fish were 850 grams before cleaning.

The power went off on Thursday about 6:30 pm, went down and checked that the emergency system kicked in. All ok but why does the power go off when it is raining. Only our street effected and was fixed by 7:45 pm. Later on I checked the system and the emergency air was still running. Had to disconnect the battery to get it to stop. Did not go down yesterday as it was raining heavy all day.

This morning I checked it out and believed it was the relay, down town for a new relay, back and reinstall. Every thing working well but will give it another test this arvo when I pull a Jade from the RAS for dinner. Just love it when you can go 20 metres and get a fresh fish for dinner.

Been raining now for 3 days and all the tanks are again full so no problems heading into Spring and Summer. Ground soaked and all the trees look good.

Take care and if you are in a rain effected area please drive carefully or stay at home. Cheers
