Oh, hope there wasn't too much damage other than the cover being ripped off and sent to the grove.
Is that a sign it was time to switch to shade cloth for the warm season?

Hope your training goes well and good luck on your "week off" getting stuff done!.

Are your towers the towergarden system modified or did you get/make them some other way? I'm not asking about the rotation system, just the actual housing as I have seen it many times before and just curious if there is a generic version or if it's THE towergarden

Thanks TCL!

TCShad- made by the same people but sold as a commercial growing apparatus.

The workshop last week went great! Lots of like minds trying to push this technology to the next level!
Ive spent this week building out a ~800 site NFT system and it's looking great (outside of the greenhouse). Lots of stuff planted and growing in my systems... Already making some return on my investment! I'll post some pictures when I get a chance but I seriously have no time these days. I'll be 100% operational in 4 weeks :)
Stay Tuned!

Holy Guacamole... You are a superman. Congrats on the acquisition, and surviving the twister... even with the 'relocation' of parts.

That all beings are well... that is the primary. After that, it's all replace-able. Crappy timing, but still.

Four weeks? Sweet!

NFT?!?!?! How are you with the heat gain during the hot summer on those? I'm having some trouble with my towers gaining too much heat during the day and chilling stuff off too much at night thinking I need to limit the amount of towers on any one system now.

Thanks Danclady! :) just gotta keep moving forward!

TC- yeah, they are basically a giant radiator but I have a heat pump on the system to control water temps :)

Haven't had time to upload a bunch of pictures lately but I got this one up last night...giant TENDER Kohlrabi! Avg weight was 2lbs with one topping out at 4lbs. Zero fibers inside and made a great Mash!

Image

Lots of veggies growing
Lots of goat milk products (soaps, lotions, conditioners, fudge, cheese, butter, all kinds!)
Good number of fish
Chickens will be in the mix within a month
Life is good folks :)

Happy Earthday!!

It's partly the variety (Kossak) and partly good husbandry. They will crack on you if you're not careful :)

I have a Jewish friend who would ask his father for $50, his father would say "40 dollars? What are you going to do with 30 dollars?"
