That's fantastic advertising!

I thought you were going to say the Harrisville times as the local paper, the Queensland times is a little bigger.

So how will this bullshark go in the system?

Thanks Colum. Coming from North qld originally, I get the poops with people (and media especially) thinking that all sharks need to be culled everytime something happens. Any who, bull sharks can live in fresh water, so I am attempting to get a 3000-4000 L ex milk vat (think big stainless steel tank, bottom draining and double walled), then have dedicated RAS style filtration (and a fair bit of it) before it hits main water. One of those things that could be a disaster, but worth a crack I reckon! Having a shark (or two) could be a big draw card I reckon ;). . I could then feed it fish caught locally (ie no red meat enters system). There is a large shed on site where I am thinking of having this, so it could be completely lockable, and obviously tank would have to have safety precautions as well.

I say have a go as well!

Are you planning on more of an expansion in the cafe system? Big long DWC beds to grow as much as possible?

Had a major setback Friday (it's been 36 hours).

Someone put detergent or something in system. Lost most of fish and most plants (due to also being busy and just not having manpower to focus on system).

Will post more updates tonight.

Mate, that sucks.

I was paranoid something like that would happen when it's open to the public. :(

A customer or employee? Or jealous competitor

Yeah was always a possibility, and if accidental by customers (ie kids etc), I would have been upset but copped it. Unsure who, but it's timing with my success in getting into paper is "interesting".

Washed 1.2 tonne of rock by hand, replaced close to 10k of water. Planting remaining surviving plants now. Due to media presence had heaps of visitors expecting lusciousness.... Sucked to have empty system....
