All good things must come to an end. This tomato plant had enough, but it was a productive life!

The struts and hubs are always tricky. Most geodesic domes are built in a 3v configuration because it offers good performance coupled with relative simplicity. Try doing a 4v configuration for the same size and the number of struts and hub connectors increase exponentially, it's just too much of an hassle. Given the cold winter conditions shown in your video, I'd say that a dome greenhouse offers better temperature performance and higher snow load capacity than traditional greenhouses. Good choice.

It may be hotter than H-E double-hockey sticks outside, but the banana tree is lovin' it! (As a comparison, the broccoli plants at the base are around 18" tall)

Here's a video detailing how I put the bell siphons together for our greenhouse. There are six of them with various sized grow beds and flow rates and they have been running with no problems (except for when I need to clean out the roots!). Enjoy and thanks for watching!

I set out to catch a few minnows to help control the mosquitoes that were breeding the DWC beds in the aquaponic system. Instead, I got a few crayfish.

I'm not sure....I really don't know anything about them. ;-)

I found this report about crayfish here in CT http://www.ct.gov/deep/lib/deep/water/w ... shdist.pdf Who knew there were so many types here!

I just know they are dark brown and pinch!

It was part of a larger study of regional dialects: http://www4.ncsu.edu/~jakatz2/project-dialect.html

My favorite is the age old question of soda/pop/coke :)

I would think you will need to put your trap right at or on the surface to catch minnows. At the bottom you get crawfish and or bottom dwellers. The minnows in my pond stay right at the top and at the edge mostly.

A quick video on how to control fungus gnats. Nematodes can also be used for controlling grubs like Japanese Beetles, and also fleas!

I don't know about anyone else but I find these videos from Rob fascinating.

Beautifully presented with a clear speaking voice - unlike most Utube vids I watch, clear and accurate presentation of the subject matter (no ums and ers) - unlike like many vids I watch, steady camera work that remains fixed to the subject and is always in focus - unlike many Utube vids I watch.

I don't know why other 'presenters' don't follow Rob's example. Maybe they are too tied up in themselves!!

Many, many thanks Rob for this series. :headbang: :headbang:
