In terms of what you can learn.... well IMHO if you can't find it on this aquaponics site then please let us know as well....

IMHO, there isn't another site that provides better, more frequently updated and up to date advise and knowledge, with more active and diverse members and systems, anywhere else :wink:

In terms of pictures of Jamie's system and plants then I'd suggest perhaps reading THIS thread from the beginning :lol:

(Edit: wrong Jamie, Rupert ;) )

I am a member of another forum like some other people from here are, but I thought that there might be some other site or sites that Jamie and you were talking about.
Yes IMHO this is a good forum, but so is the other one that I think you are talking about.
I have looked back in this thread several days ago but I am interested in recent photos. I would have thought that to be fairly obvious.

Hi,
I Have to agree this is the best website by far.
I don't see the point in duplication. The others are obviously vehicles for monetary gain - which I have no problems with - but THIS is a vast store house of useful information.
Only problem with ALL websites of this sort is the important information gems are scattered through thousands of pages of stuff. Having said that there is an incredible amount of useful anecdotal info about the day to day problems and successes that make this place a great read.

I'll get some more pictures up soon. ust want to add a few more baths.

Thanx for the vote of confidence Jamie! :)

We have discussed the little gems scattered though the forum, but it would take a team of full time employees (and this is a free and volunteer site) to keep on top of them.

Utimatly if some one is interested enough then they'll trowel through the posts and there is a growing number of long time members that know where to put their hand s on the little gems ;)

Few more piccies.
Nothing much has changed really - just adding more baths.
Because of the trees (I'm a Greeny, so not chopping them down) and the slope of the land the only area for extending is about 20m from the pool.
The new area is higher than the pool so I can still run everything from the one pump. The 100w pump is great and my solar system is having no problems handling it. The duty cycle is now 15 minute on 15 off, with a couple of 30min offs in a 24 hour period to allow any residual water to clear the system.
My new stands are built to last. The old ones are pretty dodgy and need to be replaced.
The fish are gettin big, but too fast to get shots of.
