As a rough measure a tablespoon is about 30grams... an old camera film container about 50grams...

Probably as safe as any other stuff Jessy... but I'm guessing that it's "teltra" piping...

Yep, you guessed it... they use a "slightly" different diameter size to the normal stormwater/DWV/pressure pipe... fittings could be a problem...

Unless you've got a friendly Telstra depot around...

I'd call it safe, but it's up to you how far to take the foodsafe thing.

I use some of that type of pvc in my standpipes.

yeah, he was pretty blas'e about that, being so younge , he says it is quiet common..but those guys with the prominent strip, and there hackles up, they are the trouble makers......he recons there is always at least two barra that have to hassel everybody else , and be king pins of the tank. Eat the smaller, or scare them away from the food. Basically he believes Barra are a prick of a fish

So if I can catch them and I will move them to the sump

That's like executing a political leader... it probably wont kill the beast, others will just rise to supplant him.

The fish are schooling up and feeding, though not snapping at the food yet.....once again mincing in a pilchard with a small handfull of pellets. Its working, they aren't eating each other at least.

Can you over feed fish, and what happens to them if you do ??
