Listen to Faye, and stop adding stuff. Rapidly changing the pH is bad for the fish.

Don't add table salt. The Iodine is not good for the system.

hello, thanks for advise everyone. put pool salt in about 2kg think that = 2ppm. there has not been any more dead fish, only lost 3 so far. they are quite sluggish I halved their feed yesterday and today will not feed them tomorow, as they did not eat it all today

Nomzy, check the bottom of the pond for any uneaten food or debris if there is anything there scoop it out so bottom is clear, (just in case someone has thrown extra stuff in there). Fish should perk up after adding the salt, also look around as fish will sink after they die and if found floating will probably have been dead a little while, this can contribute to ill health of the others.

nitrite = 0
pH = 8 :-(

harvested some bok choy for dinner last night it was tasty

how often should I be adding salt?
