Confirmed: Eggplant loves heat even more than okra. Can take full sun once established (and will act "established" much sooner in AP than the ~10 days it takes in-ground). I'm talking the ridiculous Houston 29-Latitude all-day sun... It laughs at it!
I'm planning a full-sun GB for okra/eggplant and will add some others from TC's list above.

Thanks, My wife likes Sweet Potatoes and egg plant. I also want to setup a full sun GB. My next addition to the system. :D I'm really liking TC's 100 gallon rubbermaid GB, nice and deep, easy to get it set and running.

Update: Week 10 with Fish. The fish are getting big and are feeding well, No loss still have 26 + 2 Sucker fish. Plants seem Ok, but very hot even with the green house open on all sides and with fans. 2 of my tomato plants took off but seems like alot of branches keep dying and not alot of fruit production. Can someone look at the pictures I posted and see if they can identify anything I might need to do for them. Also have some bugs that look like fleas on my bean plants. Need to plant some more plants to get me to the fall crops I want to plant. Any suggestions? Please!

Fish are looking good...

The die off of the tomato leaves looks pretty normal.... but you might benefit from actually removing all leaves from below the fruit trussess.... it will help with ventilation/air flow around/through the plants... and counter any humidity issues...

Your media looks like it is either getting "splashed"... or filled slightly too high....

Both "tweaks" might improve the look of the plants, especially the tomatoes...

Those fish are looking really good Mark, and even if you are having some plants dieing the others are certainly growing quite well, and the system readings are good as well.

Try to figure out what those flea thingies are, whatever they are they can't be good for the plants so get rid of them! :thumbright:

It's been a while since I've updated. As you can see the plants are growing like crazy. This morning the outside temp was 39 degrees with frost. The temp in the green house was 48 degrees and that is with the sides still open. The tank temp is 68 degrees. That is with two 500 watt tank heaters running. The day temp high yesterday was 69 degrees and the tank was able to reach the set temp of 78 degrees, but during the night the heaters can't keep the water temp at 77 as set. I planning on enclosing the greenhouse sides early this week, because by Wednesday another cold front is expected and day time highs are only going to reach the upper 50's. The fish have been doing well and a few of them are almost ready for the dinner plate. I planted some lettuce a couple of weeks ago in my floating raft table and they have been growing pretty well with the cooler weather we been having. There are lot of tomatoes on the plants well over 150. still getting some pole beans.

I have a question.. Would it be better to place the pump on a timer to shut off during the night and only run during the daylight hours to help with the water temps? I have good aeration in the tank.
