Hi LV,

Good news on the 2nd system, can not wait for the photos.

A good way to fill holes in PVC is with a hot glue gun and if need be you can re-drill through it if you decide you want the hole back again.

The water is still filthy but so far so goo for the gravity overflow and siphons.

Yep it's the start of a shade house, it's cheaper to buy a 100m role than sections like I've started. :(

I bit the bullet last weekend and completely drained my two tanks, the amount of sediment in them was too much for the pump it seems.

The pump flow would reduce to almost nothing when I brushed it around in an attempt to get it to circulate into the grow beds. Guess I should have washed all the gravel first as I ended up with about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of silt on the bottom of the sump and around the same in the fish tank.

Now to begin cycling all over again.
