Been busy digging a hole for my first IBC. I'm about 12" from having it done but need a shorter shovel.

Well I got one IBC hole finished today at about dark. So I moved to my shop and tore down the IBC for that hole. I attached part of the metal ring from an above ground pool and toted it over to the hole on my dolly. Going to need another set of hands to get it lowered into place. Will take pictures when it's light.

Liking it, keep the pictures coming!

Regarding hydrostatic pressure, when using siphons you do need a decent amount of height difference for the water levels. I'm not sure what the minimum people have gotten working is. For constant flood just a few inches to allow it to not overflow when filling is enough (and some room for bubbles and splashing)

He's right there all the time. Whenever I take a break for even a second he's right there for attention.

He is a handsome dog, MrBinks. He looks like and Australian Cattle Dog, or Blue Heeler (with a bit of Red Heeler thrown in). What is he?

Well I've got the north wall up and braced into place. Hoping I can talk my local hardware store into letting me in tonight to get some lumber so I have something to do tomorrow.

I can vouch for those pumps linked on ebay... I have 2 of them and have been running them for about a year now, even run them practically dry on several occasions and they keep going. They have thermal protection for if you do run them completely dry but I have only run them semi dry. For the money they're excellent.
