the radial filter is plumbed down to the bottom of the moving bed filter with hamster balls attached to the the 3inch with an air diffuser in the bottom to move the media and supply plenty of 02 then it comes out with another hamster ball attached to 3 inch reduced to 1 1/2" to the grow beds

I bought mine from TCLynx. The price was good, and she gives so much here, I figured it would be nice to show some support.

Ditto... TCLynx's prices are competitive and you get so much more in the way of help. She will even recommend other sources if it will save you time or money. Highly recommended! :headbang:

Captain Ron, I really like your setup and ideas. Just to make sure I am understanding your filtrating correctly, the FT flows into base of the Radial Filter Barrel where most of the solids are filtered out before the water then flows into the Bio Filter on its way to overflowing/being pumped into the into the growbeds? How often do you feel that you will have to change/clean/or replace the filter media in the mechanical filtration portion of the radial filter?

Keep up the good work!!!
-Parker

Well Parker im assuming that is going to be dependent on the biomass of fish i have in the system but everything in the radial filter is removeable and there is a 2" drain in the bottom so i can pull off solids to use on my horses pasture this next summer - hay, free fertilizer :) plus ill have a couple of tilapia in there to do some grazing as well

I did all those things growing up, well the painting part was mostly later for theater work or to spend time with the ladies who liked to watch me paint...

Looking great Captain! Is it running on 1 or 2 pumps?

BTW, I work for a roofing company here in North Texas and know a lot of good guys over on your side of the woods, let me know if you need good roofer!
