That Box is now gone ;) well the remains started the fire last night

Cane baskets will also get a hammering in my experience. Also wool futon beds. I recommend starting on bones early. The blue heeler looked really cute trying to eat a chicken wing with puppy teeth. It kept her quiet for hours.

Also, don't feed Grot from the garden. We fed our blue heeler fruit, and now she takes it from the trees / vines before we get a chance to pick. Her latest was banana rockmelon. Apparently it was very good, but we didn't get to taste it.

And fence off compost heaps.

Amongst other things....

Had a mate years ago that had a "bullie"... went everywhere with him on the back of the ute....

Met him in the pub one day around lunchtime... it was his birthday...

Faithful pooch kept jumping out of the ute and wandering in the pub.... and was given his marching orders by the publican....

"Tiddy" locked him the front cab... and we, and an ever increasing throng... proceeded to get smashed.... well into the night...

Came out at closing time....and the dog had chewed the sun visor, door handles, and the steering wheel cover... right down to the metal.... :D

Nope - grampa place...

My grampa, until the last days of his life, would wake up at 4am and head to his shed until grams would call him up for lunch...then back down until called for dinner. Day in and day out - even when he was to old to walk on his own. After dinner he would sit in the garage and watch the hummingbirds visit the feeders hanging there. In the shed, he had a 55 gallon drum he used to burn odds and ends to stay warm in the winter. He kept a few chicken and some larger livestock when he was a little younger (it was a big shed...but a shed non the less). But as he got older he would just tinker. This man would fix EVERYTHING! People from all around town would drop stuff off for him to fix. If he did not have a part he needed to fix something, he would just make it. Just that simple. I have his old 22 that he hunted with as a child and continued to use through his life. Just about every part on it has been replaced with a new homemade piece. It still works. I think I was able to trace to 1913.

The shed was his place. RIP Grampa!

OK, so got busy in the shed the other night and started making the gravel guards and standpipes.
Looked at the origional lids for the ibc's to work out how to drain the smaller beds, with a bit of effort (and holding my tounge in the right place) the center bungs will screw into the caps from the internal side.
With a bit of holesaw action the very center of the bung comes out providing a very neat fit for 25mm pipe, so "you beauty" the standpipes will be stable without having to buy more fittings :D
I also scored a 300-400L tank yesterday for a carton of beer that I will be using for a sump, its not the ideal thing I wanted but as its cylindrical I can dig further down and miss (hopefully) that seam of rock I'm having trouble with.
I'm figuring even when the bigger beds are full of water I'll only be getting 300ish liters returning to the sump anyway so fingers crossed it'll work a treat :D

File comment: The pipe fits perfectly between the opening lugs on the bung
