ours still do it in the big tank. I did just have a brief go at catching some of them to weigh them. Nuh, not going to happen :)

Grow bed (black trough)is 1800*1000*320mm, all side tops cave in which adds strength when medium is added

Sump tank grew and now have 2 (1260*640*500mm - 400l), sides will need support, 500mm deep holes should cure that.

Aussie, here are the sizes of his grow beds and sump

What sort of drama do you have to go through to get the council approval Brian?

Paul, VB

Because I want to erect a 12mtr by 4 meter greenhouse, Council wants it to be 1.5 meters from neighbors’ fence and 6.0 meters from road fence. I have to submit a site plan as well as a side and front elevation drawing. They will give me a quote on how much it will cost to to get the plans approved. If they approve it! Fortunately I have a big enough back yard that I can do this but who knows with council? There are regulations about building over sewers and fence lines and storm water and on and on. Here is hoping.

You should start your own thread AP - then we can talk about your greenhouse and stuff without hijacking Les' thread. I looked up the place you are getting yours from on the net yesterday. Got excited about getting one myslef - though have no way of fitting one as big as yours.

Hi all,
Had a holiday, got my new computer up and running and went into HSM with my system and back to normal again, all int eh space of a month – need another week to catch up on postings.

Serial growbed flood and drain – working now for 2 months without a hitch, power door door actuators are very reliable.

The SP developed a game with the goldies, swimming around underneath them and driving them to the surface, then would playfully accelerate vertically seeing how high they could knock them into the air

Results:
Now have 4 comets from original 10, (removed to the small system for survival reasons)

SP losses - nil

When I catch up on the postings will update on total system
