Goats don't need no stinkin' reason! They're goats!

They were alpine goats, not the midget kind. They were basically free range (guarded by a Maremma) for the 1st year. I have 125 acres of woods and brambles and what did they go for? My blueberries & apple trees. They also spent most of the day circling the house trying to figure out how to get in.

The rest of the day was spent standing in front of the sliding glass door (while pooping & peeing), watching us like we were TV. Dennis said they looked liked they were waiting for umbrella drinks but he wouldn't serve them!

I am glad we only have Kangaroo's they stand over 6ft only eat a few vegetables 8)
Creative1 and I went fishing this afternoon and we caught some nice trout from my middle pond
The big fellow went 1452 gram 18.5in long 60mm width 130mm depth and he was 10 month's from a fingerling the others were not far behind.
We had a few glass of wine after cleaning them and Ivan was a little late for dinner :funny1: I think he might be in trouble :laughing3:
Have a great weekend :wave1:

Eagle

WOW! They look great, sounds like you had a nice afternoon Eagle. I have to say I am impressed. You might have to enter the trout in the "Size Does Matter" competition, it could be in with a chance. :D

So did you, or will you, eat the roe Eagle? And if so how would you go about that?

I wonder......

Heres one method I found online for home made caviar, that's a bit decadent... :)
