It looks like iot should work...although I have no idea how to heat a cement slab. Doesn't look too difficult. Run tubing in concrete, connect to header tubes and temp activated switches. Run through a heater. One question. Does the Pex run through the hot water, or do you need to use copper? Look good Benny! How's the fish & plants doing?

very nice. Sometimes the stove has a water jacket, Chris. That looks like a good quality wood stove too.

The hot water runs through the pex. The top pump is for the floor heat, the bottom pump feeds to a larger system that heats my barn and house which also acts as a pressure release which allows to me to simplify the system in the greenhouse. Basically all I need to do is run a hydronic thermostat to turn the pump on and off depending on the concrete temp. For stand alone systems, the control panel is around $1200. This system cost a couple hundred, does the same thing but really simplified. The plants are doing incredibly well, I'll take some pictures tonight. I have to blow insulation and finish the plumbing after work. My water dipped under 60 degrees, so the fish are giving me the stink eye. Bennet has been in a bunch of regional tourneys lately, so we've been out every weekend. I need to catch back up. And yes, Boss, the stove has a water jacket. It works very well. I have anothe larger system that it's connected too as well

No, just water jackets. It's set up to just heat water, then pump to either exchangers or coils or floors.it has a large jacket around the burn box and a smaller one that runs up the exhaust section inside the stove.

What do you burn in it, and how often do you need to add fuel? Great idea.
It's still almost 90 here, and humid. Sucks to be honest. I was very happy when the temp and humidity dropped. Sick of working in heat index close to 100. Oh well, at least I don't have to shovel snow.

I'd rather play tennis or cast a fishing pole for therapy.
