Joel, it's a very pretty plant. It's not like the watercress I have which has a round leaf. Is that watercress still growing well?

I searched the species name and found that Scarecrow from ALS has planted some. Maybe she has some pictures as well.

see bottom of page under watercress...

http://www.greenpatchseeds.com.au/barerooted.html

They say Lebanese Watercress is "celery" flavoured....

yep, it's pretty carrot flavoured, but I can see why people say cellery... Mine is just starting to boom again, it was set back by a thrip attack and haveing it's roots trimmed off by the fish, but it's starting to look good again..

good for you, ryan. We created our system from scratch, with no experience, just on the book, dvd and asking questions here.

We had our first harvest from the AP garden last night - a bunch of silverbeet. It was much crisper than the silverbeet in the soil garden. I steamed it so we got the true flavour. It was excellent!

We're really getting into AP now. It still amazes us that it's so much easier than soil gardening. All you do is feed the fish! No weeding, watering or fertilising, which we are always doing in the soil garden. Plans for another grow bed in this system are underway and we've decided to create a second system in a few months time.

Here are the fish taken at feeding time first thing this morning. They are H's toes, not mine, mine are much prettier. :P
